Adult Bible Study

During Pastor Dick's sabbatical, we have interesting things lined up for the Adult Sunday School at 9:30 AM. PLEASE JOIN US IN THE FELLOWSHIP HALL.

Here's the schedule for September:

Sept 11: David and Gloria Baker will report on the recent ELCA Churchwide Assembly.

Sept 18: Mark Carlson, Lutheran Office of Public Policy, will talk about how ELCA social statements are developed.

Sept 25: A representative from our local Habitat for Humanity chapter will tell us about that agency's work around the world.

Confirmation

Confirmation classes for young people in grades 7-8 meet with Ms Trina in classroom #5 at the end of the school wing, and ninth-graders meet with Pastor Judith in the Youth Room, downstairs of the Fellowship Hall, after Sunday services are complete, at 12:30 for one hour. The two-year confirmation program concludes with a celebration each November, on the Feast of Christ the King.

Youths, ages 3-18

After the childrens sermon at the 10:45 Service, school-age children will go with the Sunday School teacher to the Fellowship Hall where they will engage in arts and crafts, snack time, and a lesson focusing right now on the Ten Commandments. Children will return to the service in time for communion with their families.
